One of the most well-know and beloved dishes in Korean cuisine, bibimbap (which literally translates as “mixed rice”) is a dish with countless variations, but all involving a number of components arranged over steamed rice and served with a spicy-sweet gochujang chile sauce. Ours is topped with garlicky sauteed shiitake mushrooms, steamed spinach, shredded carrots, tangy kimchi and a runny fried egg.
